Take Profit Trader Review: Futures Prop Firm With Day-One Payouts

This Take Profit Trader review breaks down the Orlando-based futures prop firm launched in 2021 by James Sixsmith — the firm that built its reputation on day-one payouts, straightforward one-step evaluation, and the most unusual three-stage progression in the segment: Test to PRO simulated funded, then automatic promotion to PRO+ live-capital execution after March 2026. The question isn’t whether Take Profit Trader is legitimate. The question is whether the drawdown model change between Test and PRO (the single biggest reason new TPT traders blow funded accounts) fits your specific trading style.

Most Take Profit Trader reviews highlight the day-one payouts and skip the drawdown mechanic that trips up more traders than any other rule. The Test evaluation uses EOD trailing drawdown — the same mechanic Topstep and MyFundedFutures Core use. The PRO funded account switches to intraday trailing drawdown — real-time floor enforcement that punishes strategies the EOD evaluation tolerated. This review breaks down what each stage actually delivers, why the drawdown change matters more than any other TPT detail, and which type of futures trader gets value from each path.

The short version: the Test evaluation is where every TPT trader starts, the PRO account is where day-one payouts become available (but where the intraday drawdown catches most account failures), and PRO+ is the live-capital upgrade tier — now automatically awarded after sustained PRO performance rather than by application.

What Take Profit Trader Actually Is

Take Profit Trader is a futures-focused proprietary trading firm launched in 2021 by James Sixsmith, headquartered in Orlando, Florida. The firm operates exclusively in US futures markets — CME index, energy, metals, and micro contracts — with no forex, CFDs, crypto, or equities offering. TPT built its reputation on two features that most competitors don’t match simultaneously: day-one payouts with no minimum profit cushion delays and a three-stage progression that ends in live-capital execution.

The core of the product is the three-stage model. A trader pays a monthly subscription to enter the Test evaluation, passes by hitting the profit target within the drawdown constraints and 5-day minimum, activates a PRO simulated funded account with day-one payout eligibility, and — for consistent PRO performers — receives automatic promotion to PRO+ with real-capital execution. Around that core, the platform adds:

  • One-step evaluation (Test) with 6% profit target and no time limit
  • Day-one payouts on PRO once withdrawal buffer is cleared — approximately 1-hour processing
  • Automatic PRO+ promotion since March 2026 — no application, no additional cost, no manual criteria submission
  • PRO+ live-capital execution — orders route to the CME through Tradovate, TPT’s regulated broker
  • 15+ platform support via Tradovate and NinjaTrader ecosystems, including TradingView
  • No scaling plan and no maximum withdrawal — traders can extract as much as they generate
  • PRO+ automated copy trading across up to 5 accounts
  • Publicly disclosed evaluation pass rate — TPT reports approximately 16.86% of Trading Tests passed in 2024

The March 2026 change to automatic PRO+ promotion is worth understanding. Before March 2026, PRO+ was an application-based flow where traders submitted requests for review. Since March 2026, TPT reviews PRO accounts on internal consistency, risk, and execution metrics and promotes qualifying traders directly. Older articles describing an application-based flow are stale. This change makes PRO+ a more accessible and predictable path than under the previous system.

ℹ Quick context

If you’re deciding between Take Profit Trader and other futures prop firms, understand that TPT operates a genuinely different model — day-one payouts and automatic live-capital progression, with the specific drawdown-model catch on PRO that traders must plan around. See the full prop firms pillar for the framework covering the futures category vs forex/CFD alternatives.

The Test: The Evaluation Stage

The Test is TPT’s single-phase evaluation. Every TPT trader passes through it before reaching a funded account. Unlike prop firms that use profit-target-plus-time-limit structures, TPT charges a monthly subscription during the Test with no expiration — traders can take as long as needed at the cost of continued monthly fees.

Rule structure:

  • Profit target: 6% ($1,500 for $25K / $3,000 for $50K / $6,000 for $100K / $9,000 for $150K)
  • EOD trailing drawdown — floor updates once daily at end-of-day (positions must be flat by 5PM ET)
  • 50% consistency rule — no single trading day can account for more than 50% of net profit at the moment the profit target is reached
  • Minimum 5 trading days before passing eligibility
  • No daily loss limit during Test
  • No time limit — take as long as needed at ongoing monthly fee
  • Unlimited Test accounts allowed (though only 5 active accounts combined count against the multi-account cap)

The Test uses EOD trailing drawdown — the same forgiving mechanism used by Topstep’s Combine and MyFundedFutures Core. Intraday adverse moves that recover before session close don’t count against the drawdown. This is what makes the Test relatively passable compared to the segment’s stricter alternatives. Combined with the 50% consistency rule (soft — checked at the moment profit target is reached, not blocking payouts) and the 5-day minimum, the Test is one of the more manageable evaluations in futures prop.

The publicly disclosed pass rate of approximately 16.86% (per TPT’s 2024 disclosure) is meaningfully higher than the industry-typical 10-15% range and reflects the Test’s structural forgiveness. TPT is one of the few futures prop firms that publishes pass rate data at all — most competitors don’t disclose this figure.

The PRO Account: Where the Drawdown Model Changes

Passing the Test activates a PRO simulated funded account. This is where day-one payouts become available and where the single most consequential TPT rule change kicks in: the drawdown model switches from EOD trailing (Test) to intraday trailing (PRO).

PRO account structure:

  • Intraday trailing drawdown — real-time floor enforcement, unrealized losses count immediately
  • Profit split: 80/20
  • Day-one payouts available once withdrawal buffer cleared
  • Approximately 1-hour payout processing on approved requests
  • No maximum withdrawal cap — extract as much as generated
  • No scaling plan — the PRO account operates at the size activated from Test
  • Positions must be flat by 5PM ET
  • 50% consistency rule removed — no consistency friction on PRO

The drawdown model change is the single most important TPT rule to understand before purchasing anything. On the Test, EOD trailing lets traders sit through normal intraday drawdowns as long as the position recovers before session close. On the PRO, intraday trailing enforces the floor in real time — a sharp market spike against an open position can breach the account even if the position would have recovered by session close. Traders who pass the Test with a strategy that occasionally carries meaningful unrealized losses through the session often blow the PRO account within days for exactly the same trading behavior that passed the evaluation.

Multiple independent reviews flag this as TPT’s most consequential structural issue — one review describes it as “the single biggest reason traders blow funded accounts in the first week.” The fix isn’t complicated: verify that your strategy naturally exits positions or holds them to break-even without meaningful unrealized loss carry, or accept that PRO’s intraday drawdown will catch trading patterns the Test tolerated.

PRO+ Live-Capital Tier: The Segment-Unique Upgrade

PRO+ is TPT’s live-capital execution tier — the final stage where funded traders graduate from simulated PRO accounts to real-money trading with direct-to-exchange execution through Tradovate (TPT’s regulated broker). Since March 2026, promotion to PRO+ is automatic based on TPT’s review of PRO account performance, replacing the older application-based flow.

PRO+ features:

  • Real-capital execution — orders hit the CME through Tradovate with real fills and real slippage
  • Profit split: 90/10 (upgrade from PRO’s 80/20)
  • EOD trailing drawdown returns — the intraday enforcement from PRO is replaced with the more forgiving EOD mechanic
  • No withdrawal buffer — every dollar earned is available immediately
  • Automated copy trading permitted across up to 5 PRO+ accounts
  • Automatic promotion since March 2026 — no trader application required
  • Promotion criteria — TPT internal metrics (consistency, risk management, execution quality); generally after approximately $5,000 in cumulative PRO profits, though TPT hasn’t published a fixed threshold

PRO+ combined with the automatic promotion process is TPT’s most differentiated feature in the futures prop segment. Topstep’s Live Funded Account is the closest comparable structure — but Topstep’s Live invitation is manual, rare, and requires sustained performance across many months. TPT’s automatic promotion process is meaningfully more accessible for traders who reach the qualifying performance metrics.

The trade-off structure changes on PRO+: 90/10 split (vs PRO’s 80/20) and EOD drawdown returns (vs PRO’s intraday) — meaning PRO+ is materially better economics and materially more forgiving than PRO. The path from PRO to PRO+ is what makes TPT worth the intraday-drawdown friction on PRO for many traders. Once on PRO+, the trader operates with the forgiving drawdown, higher split, real-capital execution, and no buffer delays.

Futures traders wanting day-one payouts and live-capital upgrade

Take Profit Trader is one of few futures prop firms with day-one payouts, ~1-hour processing, and automatic PRO+ promotion to live-capital

Test → PRO → PRO+ progression with automatic upgrade since March 2026. Understand the drawdown model change from Test’s EOD to PRO’s intraday before purchasing — it catches more account failures than any other rule.

The Drawdown Model Change: The Trap Most Traders Miss

The Test-to-PRO drawdown change is the single most important TPT mechanic to understand before purchasing. Marketing framing usually emphasizes the EOD drawdown as a TPT advantage — which is true for the Test, but misleading for the PRO account where the drawdown model switches to intraday.

The behavior differences:

On the Test (EOD trailing):

  • Floor updates once at end-of-day
  • Intraday drawdowns that recover before session close don’t count
  • Sitting through a normal intraday adverse move is tolerated
  • Strategies with typical unrealized loss patterns pass without friction

On the PRO (intraday trailing):

  • Floor updates in real time
  • Every new equity high advances the floor immediately
  • Unrealized losses count against the floor as they occur
  • A sharp market spike against an open position can breach the account even if the position would have recovered by session close
  • The same strategy that passed the Test can blow the PRO account within days for identical trading behavior

The practical implication is that Test pass probability and PRO survival probability are meaningfully different numbers. Traders often pass the Test on their first or second attempt (16.86% published pass rate suggests reasonable difficulty) and then blow the PRO account in the first week or two of funded operation. This isn’t a strategy failure — it’s a drawdown-model incompatibility that the Test structure obscured.

The fix is upfront verification: before purchasing anything at TPT, verify that your typical futures strategy either (a) exits positions before session end without meaningful open profit exposure, (b) holds positions through the session without giving back significant open profit intraday, or (c) is willing to modify the strategy specifically for PRO’s intraday drawdown enforcement. If none of these applies, the intraday drawdown on PRO will catch account failures the Test didn’t warn about.

The Payout Reality: Fast and Uncapped

TPT’s payout structure is one of the fastest and most flexible in the futures prop segment. Once the withdrawal buffer is cleared on the PRO account, day-one payouts become available with approximately 1-hour processing time on approved requests. There is no maximum withdrawal cap and no scaling plan constraints on extraction.

Payout mechanics:

  • Withdrawal buffer: profit generated during the buffer period isn’t withdrawable — the buffer must be cleared before day-one payouts activate
  • Day-one payouts: once the buffer is cleared, every subsequent trading day is payout-eligible
  • Approximately 1-hour processing on approved requests
  • No maximum withdrawal cap — extract as much as generated within account rules
  • PRO+ has no withdrawal buffer — every dollar earned is immediately available

This is materially faster than Topstep’s bi-weekly cycles, Apex’s 5-11 business day processing, and MyFundedFutures’ 1-3 business day processing (except Rapid). For traders whose priority is speed of payment and unrestricted extraction, TPT delivers economics that no major competitor matches at the same operational tier.

The Trustpilot rating of 4.4/5 across 9,600+ reviews and TPT’s willingness to publicly disclose the pass rate (16.86% in 2024) are positive transparency signals. The firm doesn’t publish cumulative payout figures at the same scale as FundingPips’ Payout Junction verification, but community-verified payout performance is consistently positive per multiple independent review sources.

How Take Profit Trader Compares to Specialized Alternatives

vs Topstep: the live-capital-tier comparison

  • TPT wins on live-capital tier accessibility. Automatic PRO+ promotion since March 2026 vs Topstep’s manual and rare Live Funded Account invitation
  • Topstep wins on operational history. Around 2010 launch vs TPT’s 2021
  • TPT wins on payout speed. ~1-hour processing on day-one payouts vs Topstep’s bi-weekly cycles with 5-winning-day minimums
  • Topstep wins on drawdown model consistency. Same trailing mechanic Combine-to-XFA vs TPT’s Test-to-PRO EOD-to-intraday change
  • TPT wins on multi-account limit for PRO+. 5 PRO+ accounts with automated copy trading vs Topstep’s more restrictive limits

For traders prioritising accessible live-capital progression and fast payouts, TPT wins. For traders prioritising longest track record and rule consistency across stages, Topstep wins. See the Topstep review for the mirror comparison.

vs Apex Trader Funding: the payout speed and scaling comparison

  • TPT wins on payout speed. Day-one payouts with ~1-hour processing vs Apex’s 5-11 business day processing
  • Apex wins on multi-account scaling. Up to 20 Performance Accounts simultaneously vs TPT’s 5-account combined cap
  • TPT wins on live-capital progression. PRO+ real-capital execution vs Apex’s simulated-only Performance Accounts
  • Apex wins on 100% profit split vs TPT’s 80/20 (PRO) or 90/10 (PRO+)
  • TPT wins on no scaling-plan constraints. No caps on withdrawal amounts vs Apex’s per-payout structure
  • Apex wins on 6-payout cap flexibility. Each PA has independent 6-payout ladder, aggregate lifetime capacity is high; TPT’s no-cap extraction is faster but limited to 5-account combined ceiling

For traders prioritising payout speed and live-capital option, TPT wins. For traders committed to multi-account scaling with maximum aggregate capacity, Apex wins. See the Apex Trader Funding review for details.

How Traders Actually Use Take Profit Trader: Three Real Workflows

The Test-to-PRO-to-PRO+ progression workflow

The most productive TPT workflow starts with strategy verification against PRO’s intraday drawdown before paying the first Test subscription. The trader confirms their futures strategy naturally exits positions before session end or holds through the session without meaningful open-profit give-back. Only then subscribe to the Test at moderate account size, hit the 6% profit target within 5 trading days minimum, activate PRO, clear the withdrawal buffer with 1-2 weeks of consistent trading, then extract day-one payouts as the account operates. After demonstrating sustained PRO performance (approximately $5,000+ cumulative profits per publicly available reporting), receive automatic PRO+ promotion and continue operating with the higher split, EOD drawdown return, and real-capital execution.

The multi-Test parallel evaluation workflow

Traders who want to hedge against a single Test failing use TPT’s unlimited-Test structure to run multiple parallel evaluations. Subscribe to Test at multiple account sizes ($25K and $50K, for example), trade the same strategy across all, and pass whichever completes first while continuing to attempt the others. Once one Test passes, activate it as PRO and evaluate whether the intraday drawdown model actually fits the strategy before subscribing to additional Tests. This workflow specifically compensates for the Test-to-PRO drawdown mismatch by allowing operational verification on the first PRO account before committing further capital.

The PRO+ live-capital operational workflow

Once promoted to PRO+, the trader operates with materially different mechanics than PRO — 90/10 split, EOD drawdown, no withdrawal buffer, real-capital execution. The operational workflow shifts accordingly: with EOD drawdown restored, strategies that had to be modified for PRO’s intraday can return to natural execution. With no withdrawal buffer, every profitable day generates immediately-available withdrawal capacity. With real-capital execution through Tradovate, order fills reflect real market conditions rather than simulated behavior — a meaningful shift for algorithmic strategies whose execution quality matters. Traders on PRO+ can also use automated copy trading across up to 5 PRO+ accounts, effectively multiplying deployment for proven strategies.

The Real Limitations Worth Knowing

The Test-to-PRO drawdown model change catches most first-time TPT failures. This isn’t documented prominently in TPT marketing materials but affects nearly every trader whose strategy occasionally carries unrealized losses through the session. Verify strategy compatibility with intraday trailing drawdown before subscribing to the Test.

Monthly subscription during Test compounds during extended evaluations. Traders who take 2-3 months to pass pay meaningfully more than one-time-fee competitors’ equivalent challenge costs. The subscription model creates ongoing cost pressure that TPT competitors without subscriptions don’t impose.

5-account combined cap limits scaling beyond a specific ceiling. Traders wanting to run 10+ concurrent accounts hit the TPT limit at 5 combined (Test + PRO + PRO+). Multi-account scaling above this threshold requires choosing Apex Trader Funding instead, which permits up to 20 simultaneous Performance Accounts.

Pros and Cons

Strengths

  • Day-one payouts on PRO once withdrawal buffer cleared
  • Approximately 1-hour payout processing on approved requests
  • Three-stage progression ending in PRO+ live-capital execution
  • Automatic PRO+ promotion since March 2026 — no application required
  • PRO+ delivers 90/10 split, EOD drawdown return, no withdrawal buffer
  • No maximum withdrawal cap and no scaling plan constraints
  • Test’s EOD trailing drawdown makes evaluation relatively passable
  • 50% consistency rule during Test is soft (checked at target reach, not ongoing)
  • 15+ platform support via Tradovate and NinjaTrader ecosystems
  • Trustpilot 4.4/5 across 9,600+ reviews; publicly disclosed 16.86% Test pass rate

Weaknesses

  • Test-to-PRO drawdown model change (EOD → intraday) catches most first-time failures
  • PRO’s intraday trailing drawdown is materially stricter than Test’s EOD
  • Monthly subscription model compounds during extended Test evaluations
  • 5-account combined cap limits scaling beyond Apex’s 20-PA ceiling
  • PRO+ promotion criteria not fully public (approximately $5K cumulative profits + TPT internal metrics)
  • Positions must be flat by 5PM ET (no overnight holding)
  • Futures-only — no forex, CFDs, or crypto
  • No scaling plan means PRO account size stays at Test activation size (no capital growth via performance)
  • Withdrawal buffer delay on first PRO payouts requires 1-2 weeks of consistent trading before day-one payouts activate
  • Shorter operational history than Topstep (2021 vs around 2010)

Who Should Pay for What

Your situation Recommended path
Futures trader with strategy that closes positions before session end Test → PRO → PRO+ standard progression
Trader wanting fastest possible payout speed in futures prop TPT via day-one payouts + ~1-hour processing on PRO
Trader specifically targeting live-capital execution TPT — automatic PRO+ promotion is more accessible than Topstep’s Live Funded Account
Systematic trader wanting automated copy trading on funded accounts PRO+ — 5-account copy trading permitted (PRO does not support this)
Trader wanting no maximum withdrawal cap TPT — no cap on extraction amounts (Apex 6-payout cap constrains extraction; Topstep caps per payout)
Strategy regularly carries unrealized losses through session Skip TPT PRO — use MyFundedFutures Core or Topstep instead (EOD drawdown consistent through funded stage)
Multi-account scaler wanting 10+ concurrent accounts Skip TPT — 5-account cap; use Apex Trader Funding’s 20-PA architecture instead

Verdict: Who Should Use Take Profit Trader

Take Profit Trader is the right choice for futures traders whose strategy is compatible with intraday trailing drawdown on PRO and who value day-one payouts, ~1-hour processing, and the accessible path to PRO+ live-capital execution. The Test evaluation is one of the more manageable in futures prop thanks to EOD drawdown and soft consistency rule. The PRO account delivers the fastest payout mechanics in the segment. PRO+ automatic promotion since March 2026 makes live-capital execution meaningfully more accessible than Topstep’s rare Live Funded Account invitation.

The places where TPT is genuinely the wrong choice are structural: traders whose strategy carries unrealized losses through sessions face the Test-to-PRO drawdown model change that catches most first-time failures, multi-account scalers wanting 10+ concurrent accounts hit the 5-account cap, and traders wanting scaling plans that grow account capital via performance don’t get that at TPT (no scaling plan — accounts stay at Test activation size unless promoted to PRO+).

The math that actually matters: TPT’s economics compress in the trader’s favor conditional on strategy compatibility with PRO’s intraday drawdown and successful navigation to PRO+ where the drawdown returns to EOD and the split rises to 90/10. For traders who reach PRO+ and sustain performance, the combination of real-capital execution, higher split, EOD drawdown, and no withdrawal buffer delivers economics that compete with any competitor in the futures prop segment. For traders whose strategy is fundamentally incompatible with intraday drawdown, no amount of payout speed or PRO+ potential compensates because the PRO account terminates before reaching PRO+ qualification. The single most valuable pre-purchase check is honest assessment of whether your typical futures strategy exits positions or holds without meaningful open-profit give-back intraday.

✓ Bottom line

Verify your strategy’s compatibility with PRO’s intraday trailing drawdown before subscribing to anything — this is the single biggest reason first-time TPT traders blow funded accounts. Choose TPT if your strategy naturally exits positions before session end or holds without meaningful unrealized loss carry, and you value day-one payouts plus the automatic PRO+ progression to live-capital execution. If your strategy occasionally carries meaningful unrealized losses through the session, choose MyFundedFutures Core or Topstep instead (both maintain EOD drawdown consistency through the funded stage). If you need multi-account scaling beyond 5 combined accounts, Apex Trader Funding is the operative alternative.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Take Profit Trader legitimate?

Yes. Take Profit Trader has operated continuously since 2021 from Orlando, Florida, founded by James Sixsmith. The Trustpilot rating sits at 4.4/5 across 9,600+ reviews. TPT publicly discloses its evaluation pass rate (approximately 16.86% of Trading Tests passed in 2024), which is a transparency signal most competitors don’t offer. The firm survived the 2023 prop firm shakeout and maintained operations through the March 2026 PRO+ promotion process change. Legitimacy in the sense of “does TPT deliver the product it sells and pay traders who meet the criteria” is well established empirically.

What’s the difference between Test, PRO, and PRO+?

Test is the paid one-step evaluation with 6% profit target, EOD trailing drawdown, 50% consistency rule, and 5 trading day minimum. Passing the Test activates a PRO simulated funded account with 80/20 split, intraday trailing drawdown (the key change from Test), day-one payouts once buffer cleared, and no maximum withdrawal cap. Sustained PRO performance triggers automatic promotion (since March 2026) to PRO+, the live-capital tier with 90/10 split, EOD trailing drawdown returned, no withdrawal buffer, and real-capital execution through Tradovate.

Why does the drawdown model change from Test to PRO?

TPT uses EOD trailing drawdown on the Test evaluation to keep it relatively passable — traders can sit through normal intraday adverse moves that recover before session close. On the PRO funded account, TPT switches to intraday trailing drawdown, which enforces the floor in real time. This is not documented prominently in TPT marketing but is the single most consequential rule change in the TPT product. Traders often pass the Test with a strategy that occasionally carries unrealized losses through the session, then blow the PRO account within days when the same trading behavior breaches the intraday floor. Verify strategy compatibility with intraday drawdown before subscribing.

What is TPT’s profit split?

80/20 on PRO simulated funded accounts (80% to trader, 20% to TPT). 90/10 on PRO+ live-capital accounts. PRO+ also removes the withdrawal buffer and returns to EOD trailing drawdown, making it materially better economics and more forgiving than PRO across every dimension.

How does automatic PRO+ promotion work?

Since March 18, 2026, PRO+ promotion is a fully automated TPT-managed process. There is no trader application, no additional cost, and no manual criteria submission. TPT reviews PRO accounts on internal consistency, risk, and execution metrics and promotes qualifying traders directly. Older articles describing an application-based flow are stale. Promotion generally happens after approximately $5,000 in cumulative PRO profits, though TPT hasn’t published a fixed threshold.

How fast are TPT payouts?

Day-one payouts on PRO once the withdrawal buffer is cleared, with approximately 1-hour processing time on approved requests. This is the fastest payout structure in the futures prop segment — meaningfully faster than Topstep’s bi-weekly cycles, Apex’s 5-11 business day processing, or MyFundedFutures’ 1-3 business day processing. PRO+ has no withdrawal buffer, so every dollar earned is immediately available.

How many TPT accounts can I run simultaneously?

Maximum 5 active accounts combined (Test + PRO + PRO+ combined toward the cap) per identity. The cap applies per person, not per email, and KYC-checked accounts cannot be split across multiple users to circumvent the limit. This is meaningfully more restrictive than Apex’s 20-PA ceiling but comparable to most other futures prop firms.

Does TPT have a consistency rule?

Yes on the Test evaluation only — 50% consistency rule that checks the highest single trading day against total net profit at the moment the profit target is reached. The rule is removed entirely on PRO and PRO+ accounts. This is looser than the 15% consistency rules at FundingPips Zero or Goat Funded Trader, and looser than Topstep’s ongoing consistency mechanism during evaluation.

Should I choose Take Profit Trader, Topstep, or Apex for futures trading?

TPT wins on payout speed (day-one, ~1-hour processing), automatic PRO+ live-capital progression, and no maximum withdrawal cap. Topstep wins on operational history and rule consistency between evaluation and funded stage (no equivalent to TPT’s EOD-to-intraday drawdown switch). Apex wins on multi-account scaling (20 PAs vs TPT’s 5-account cap), 100% profit split, and one-time fee structure. For traders wanting fastest payouts and accessible live-capital, TPT wins. For traders wanting rule consistency and longest track record, Topstep wins. For traders committed to multi-account scaling, Apex wins. See the Topstep review, Apex Trader Funding review, and MyFundedFutures review for the mirror comparisons.
